Statement Day for iOS and Android
Effective September 3, 2026 · Last updated September 3, 2026
The short version: Statement Day does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising.
Statement Day is published by Samuel Phan Le ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
The app lets you enter credit card nicknames, credit limits, statement closing dates, balances, planned spending, and a target date. This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data. If you use your device's built-in backup (iCloud Backup or Google's Android backup), that backup is handled by Apple or Google under their own policies and encryption, not by us.
The optional Pro unlock is sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We receive only anonymous sales totals from them, never your name, payment details, or device identity. Apple's and Google's handling of your purchase is described in their own privacy policies: Apple and Google.
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules notifications locally on your device (for example, “Pay your travel card down to $210 by Sep 17”). These are generated on your phone and never pass through a server. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
The app makes no network requests of its own. The only connections are those your device makes to Apple or Google to process a purchase or restore one.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and, since it collects no data, does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Statement Day is a planning tool. The dates and amounts it shows are estimates based on the information you enter. Card issuers occasionally report balances on days other than the statement closing date, and credit scoring models differ. Nothing in the app is credit, legal, or financial advice.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example if we add optional cloud sync, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and describe the change inside the app before it takes effect.
