Statement Day
Email [email protected] and a real person answers. It is usually the same day, and always within two business days.
Statement Day has no account and no server. Nobody can look up your data to help you, because nobody has it. If something looks wrong, tell me what is on your screen and what you expected, and I will work it out from there.
On your most recent statement, near the top. It is usually labelled closing date, statement date or statement period ending. It is not the payment due date, and getting the two mixed up is the single most common reason the app's numbers look wrong.
Inside the app, tap the i beside "Statement closes on the" for a walkthrough for your issuer.
Because you have not entered one, and the app will not guess. Due dates vary by issuer and by account, and a guessed date that runs a day late costs you interest, a late fee, and eventually a mark on the credit report you are using this app to protect.
Open the card, find Due date, and enter how many days after the closing date your payment is due. Leave it blank and the app simply shows no due dates, which is the honest answer to a question it cannot answer.
Because at least one card has not yet closed and reported the balance you are planning. The app takes each card's next closing date, adds the time your issuer takes to report, and gives you the first date every card will have caught up. Move your application date to that day or later, or accept that those cards will show last month's balance.
That is the app working. Every pay-by amount is derived from the balance you entered, so a new balance means new amounts. If you have spent on a card since you last opened the app, update it before you pay.
Check Settings › Notifications › Statement Day on your phone and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Inside the app, check that Pay-by reminders is on under More. Reminders fire at 9 AM, one day before each pay-by date, and Pro adds a second one three days out.
A card with nothing to pay this cycle gets no reminder, which is intended.
Open More and tap Restore purchases. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it restores on any device signed in to the same account. If it still does not appear, email me the date of purchase and I will help.
No. There is no login, no linked account, and no connection to any card issuer or credit bureau. Everything on screen is worked out from the limits, balances and dates you type in. See the privacy policy.
No. Statement Day is a planning tool, not credit advice. It does date arithmetic on what you enter. Issuers occasionally report on days other than the closing date, and scoring models differ from one another, so treat the output as a plan rather than a promise.
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Use reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you bought with. I cannot issue a refund directly, but tell me what went wrong either way, because it is usually something I can fix.
Everything the app knows lives on your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is nothing on a server to request, export or erase, because there is no server.
If a date or an amount looks incorrect, that is worth an email. Include the card's credit limit, current balance and closing day, what the app showed, and what you expected. Those four things are almost always enough to reproduce it.
